Opinions on Grills
Jul 10 2006, 11:50 AM EDT Has anyone had the wonderful experience of buying a grill and loving it so much that you BBQ even more than you did before? Or, have you been one of the unfortunate souls to buy a grill only to find it wasn't worth the price and didn't meet your expectations? If you've had either of these experiences, tell us about them here. It can help others when trying to determine which type/kind/size of grill to buy. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Opinions on Grills
Jul 9 2008, 11:56 PM EDT For a year I dreamed of buying a pellet smoker. It was such a pain being around all day to keep filling the smoker box on my propane smoker. My wife smokes a lot of Salmon we catch, and I like to do ribs, turkeys, and tri-tip.. Smoker pellets are available in 7-10 different varieties. I found if you can taste the smoke they all taste the same. We have never been so disappointed in a $1000 PURCHASE IN OUR LIVES. We've had the BBQ/smoker for over a year, and haven't really liked anything we have smoked except a couple of pork tenderloins. I have contacted the factory and they really offered me NO solutions or options. I could go on and on about how disappointed I am but I think I'll just go back to our propane smoker and our Weber gas Grill and/or our Weber Kettle. Do you find this valuable? |
