Charcoal-Roasted Ham

Charcoal-Roasted Ham

ham

Build a fire in your charcoal grill and spread the hot coals around the bottom. Place a fully cooked ham, any sort or size, into a disposable aluminum roasting pan, place on the grill, and lower the lid. Heat the ham through, which will take about one or two hours.

While it’s roasting, baste periodically with Ketchacola Ham Glaze--one cup of tomato ketchup dissolved in one can of real Coke. (Real Coke, please, not diet, which has no sugar.) This glaze is straight from The White Trash Cookbook and gives an astonishingly tasty result.
